QJ-EIMASCEM follows international standards for ethical publishing
Publication Ethics
QJ-EIMASCEM follows the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors. All parties involved in the publication process—Publisher, Editors, Reviewers, and Authors—are expected to adhere to the highest standards of ethical conduct.
Ethical Standards
Plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, and unethical research practices are not tolerated. The journal maintains strict ethical oversight throughout the publication process.
Peer Review Process
QJ-EIMASCEM strictly follows a double-blind peer-review process, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers remain anonymous.

Detailed Review Process
- 1 Manuscript undergoes initial screening by Editors for originality, relevance, technical contribution, and plagiarism status
- 2 Manuscripts that pass screening are forwarded to double-blind peer review
- 3 Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent reviewers from editorial board or external experts
- 4 Review process normally requires a minimum of eight (8) weeks to reach final decision
- 5 Based on reviewers' comments, Editor communicates decision to corresponding author
- 6 Authors revise manuscripts according to reviewers' comments
- 7 Final decision regarding acceptance or rejection rests solely with the Editors
All official correspondence is conducted via e-mail only.
Plagiarism Policy
Authors submitting manuscripts to QJ-EIMASCEM must strictly adhere to ethical standards regarding originality and plagiarism.
By submitting a manuscript, authors confirm that:
- The work is entirely original and has not been published elsewhere
- The manuscript is free from plagiarism in any form
- No part of the article has been copied from other sources without proper citation
- Appropriate references are provided for all borrowed ideas, text, figures, or data
Plagiarism Detection & Consequences
Detection Tools
All submitted manuscripts are screened for plagiarism using Crossref Similarity Check, powered by Turnitin.
During Review Process
If plagiarism is detected at any stage of the review process, authors will be notified and asked to provide clarification or corrections. Depending on the similarity percentage and severity, the manuscript may be rejected without review.
After Publication
If plagiarism is identified after publication, the article will be permanently removed from the QJ-EIMASCEM archive, and appropriate actions will be taken in accordance with publication ethics.

Accountability: Editors are responsible for deciding which submitted manuscripts should be published and are accountable for all content published in QJ-EIMASCEM.

Fairness: Editors evaluate manuscripts solely on academic merit without discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, political views, or institutional affiliation.

Confidentiality: Editors and editorial staff must not disclose any information about submitted manuscripts to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, or editorial advisers.

Conflicts of Interest: Editors must not use unpublished materials for personal research and must recuse themselves from handling manuscripts where conflicts of interest exist.

Ethical Oversight: Editors are responsible for investigating ethical complaints, addressing misconduct, and maintaining the integrity of the scholarly record through corrections, retractions, or expressions of concern when required.
